Happy Birthday Grace!!

Sapevate che la scorsa settimana Grace Coddington ha compiuto 70 anni?? Lei, la direttrice creativa di Vogue America, nonchè braccio destro della temutissima Anna Wintour(!!), ha festeggiato con un party esclusivo a New York al quale erano presenti molti dei nomi più importanti della moda.
Oltre al mio "idolo", la direttrice Anna, non sono mancati all'appuntamento tra gli altri i designers Marc Jacobs, Stefano Pilati (che nella foto spunta sulla sinistra vicino a Grace), le sorelle Mulleavy di Rodarte, Oscar de la Renta e Vera Wang. Tra gli invitanti c'erano anche il fotografo Patrick Demarchelier e l'ex top model Naomi Campbell!



Proprio durante questa serata, a cui mi sarebbe piaciuto molto prendere parte ;), Anna Wintuor ha spese delle bellissime parole per la festeggiata, dicendo: "Penso a Grace come il cuore e l'anima del giornale". 
Non mi resta allora che Buon Compleanno Grace!! L. 




Did you know that last week Grace Coddington turned 70?? The creative director of Vogue America and right-hand woman of Anna Wintour, celebrated her birthday with an exclusive party in New York, where some of the most important figures in fashion system were present. 
In addiction to my "idol", the editor in chief Anna, there were many designers such as Marc Jacobs, Stefano Pilati ( the one on the left next to Grace), the Mulleavy sisters (Rodarte), Oscar de la Renta and Vera Wang. Among the guests there also were the photographer Patrick Demarchelier and the ex top model Naomi Campbell!
Right during the party, that I would have liked to take part ;), Anna Wintour spent some beautiful words about Grace: "I think of Grace as the heart and soul of the magazine.".
